Precautions for routine maintenance of removable foam fire extinguisher

Foam extinguishing equipment - Mobile foam extinguishing equipment has been widely used in various chemical enterprises. Mobile foam extinguishing device as a supplement to fixed extinguishing device can be used for fire protection of multiple equipment in the protection area.

Notes for routine maintenance of removable foam extinguisher:

1. Pay more attention to the validity period of fire foam, such as failure and deterioration should be replaced in time.

2. The foam extinguishing system of mobile foam extinguishing device shall be inspected at least once a month. Valves and connections shall be leak-free and valves shall be closed.

3. Mobile foam extinguishing device should check the leakage of foam level and capsule at least once a year. If the capsule is damaged, the company should be informed to deal with it in time.

4. Clean the pipe with clean water after each use of mobile foam extinguishing device.

5. After the mobile foam extinguishing device is placed for a long time, if the paint falls off or rusts on the surface, it should be treated with paint repair and anticorrosion. 

6. The mixing device of the foam fire extinguishing system should be kept away from direct sunlight and installed in a place with small temperature change to prevent direct contact with the air.

7. When the fire fighting foam is stored for a long time, it should be sampled and replaced in time if it fails or deteriorates.

8. In the standby state, the storage tank of the mobile foam extinguishing device shall be filled with fire fighting foam.

9. The mixing ratio of fire fighting foam shall be the same as that in the mixing device.

10. The tank of mobile foam extinguishing device should be kept clean, and the fire fighting foam should not be mixed with oil. Water and different brands of foam mixed, fire foam should not be used in the wrong model.

11. It is not allowed to use mobile foam fire extinguishing device beyond the working pressure range.
